Shaw offers warranty coverage on residential applications, ranging from 12 to 25 years. The time period begins from the date of purchase, which the company promises the laminate flooring will not stain; not wear through decorative surface; not fade from artificial light or direct sunlight; and is free of factory defects. Certain conditions apply as to claiming the warranty, and it is important to learn them to qualify for the application.

When claiming the warranty, the company will require valid proof of purchase and detailed description of the defect or damage. A photograph showing the real problem will further make your claim stronger.

The dealer from which you purchased the original laminates may correct the problem. However, in the instance that it cannot do anything about the defect, you will be required to directly contact the company.

If the claim is valid, Shaw may provide the necessary repair or replacement, if warranted. It will cover for the professional labor expenses, as long as period is within the first two years after the original purchase.

If the color of the damaged laminate flooring is no longer available in the company, Shaw will order or authorize the dealer form which the product was acquired to replace it with another product of the same value.
